For over 50 years the mission of the Berkeley Community Chorus and Orchestra has been to make the joy of choral music available to everyone. One way we do this is to foster collaborations with other organizations to sing and perform great musical works.
Collaborations with other singers, instrumentalists, dancers, graphic artists, and musical organizations of all kinds are a permanent and ongoing part of our experience. They range in formality, from agreements between BCCO and other organizations to jointly produce a musical event, to simply fostering opportunities to participate in singing festivals and workshops, or to join other choruses that need more singers for a production. We especially seek summer opportunities in years when the chorus isn’t touring internationally, as it did in Central and Eastern Europe in 2013, in Western Europe in 2016, in the Baltic states in 2019 and in Paris and Versailles in 2025.

Each upcoming project includes information on how to enroll. If you’re a singer or musical leader with another choral group, we warmly invite you to work with us in these efforts.
